Thank you especially for your citing the words of William Penn. I have long used it as a major axiom for living, although I have taught it to my children by rendering it thus: "Man shall ultimately be ruled by God or by tyrants."
It is extremely sad to see how blatantly godless America has become since the '50s. It is obvious that we already live in a black-ops police state; and the avalanche of tyranny is about to be unleashed. Perhaps the time has come for all who identify themselves as Christians in America to truly learn what it means to be a true Christian, much like the many saints and martyrs before us. Jesus Christ controls our destiny, and our inheritance is not of this world. Let us pursue prayer, true fasting, and humility as a way of life. The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church. May the Lord save our souls.

Please pray for the bishops and peitsrs around the world, that they handle all cases of abuse by clergy and religious with love and compassion for the victims and their families, that they will not abandon their needs, especially their spiritual needs. Please pray that the hierarchy of the Church will not try to hide this terrible wrong but be seen to do what is morally right and just. Please pray for those responsible for such crimes against children, that they repent and accept punishment under the law. The greatest evil is the evil within and the Church will lose many, many vocations and many more will lose their faith if, as Catholics, we are seen to permit or cover up such a terrible wrong. We cannot hope to convince the world that all life is precious and should be cherished if scandals are allowed to multiply. I write as one greatly pained by these issues on a personal level.

let's look at these socialist indoctrination centers (schools)...
The battle is lost before the first class begins.
When Johny or Sally gewts off the bus what does he see - a brand new school with as many bells and whistles, with an army of aides and personnel at his disposal. The taxpayer has been fleeced through the typical Democratic mantra of it all being for the "Children's Sake". When parents do pay property taxes it typically pays for a small fraction of the true cost of educating the kids and this fits in perfectly with the philosophy of "spending other people's money". Teachers, Administrators, and school board members are equally brainwashed into this spending other's mindset - it's called brainwashing. The immediate consequence of this is debt. - that budgetary amount which has taken on a bigger and bigger part of school budgets (and which has caused read academic spending to decline).
This is socialism/marxism and this is the true message that's being instilled through every pore of every kid in the schools. It doesn't have to be taught explicitly - the "entitlement" thinking that kids enjoy, has been shared by teachers, board members, and yes, even parents - remember they actually believe that nothing is too good for their kids' sake
So don't ask how socialism came here, to America. ask instead how it can be eliminated. To change our country back to it's Judeo-Christian roots, look first to change this socialist education entitlement mindset.

Heard from family members in Astoria, NY. They're seeing a HUGE turnout at the polls. Wait times of 45 minutes to 1.5 hrs or more in line.

These are the biggest lines they've EVER seen when voting (over 30 year span)! This is the kind of passion and enthusiasm we've seen from Romney voters, not the Obama "fear and revenge" crew.

It looks like New York may be in play after all. Keep praying America, keep praying!

I see your point about the employees gviing up their bonuses to the government if you look at it as government property' and not their wages.'I can't make the leap that their wages and bonuses go from being their property to public property just because the government decides to stuff taxpayer money into their business. Their wages are their wages, under contract no less, no matter who owns the company. And didn't you know, that it was Obama, Geithner, and Dodd who saw to it that those employees would get their bonuses by stuffing it into the stimulus bill, that Obama didn't want anyone to read. The talk from the politicos on both sides of the aisle is feign indignation when they say stuff like you should do the right thing and give that money back.' What they are doing is just trying to cover their own political ass.The plan was to play out those bonuses already committed and owed, and to change the pay policy going forward. But as the details of the players became known, a whole other can of worms was opened, exposing the character of those involved. The fact that Congress passed such an action against private citizens is preposterous on its own. True, they're the ones that make tax policy. It's no wonder we have the tax system we have. But Obama doesn't have to sign it. He ought to veto it.If we learned anything from this it is this. When politicians can agree to pass legislation so fast that no debate needs to occur, RESIST.
