\n\u201cAnd this is the condemnation, that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil\u201d (John 3:19). <\/p>\n

We gather peacefully, they riot.
\nWe light candles, they set fires.
\nWe defend, they terrorize.
\nWe desire peace, they spread violence.<\/p>\n

We build, they tear down.
\nWe protect, they destroy.
\nWe comfort, they spread suffering.
\nWe preserve order, they foment anarchy.<\/p>\n

We embrace life, they want death.
\nWe love the truth, they long for lies.
\nWe seek the Light, they prefer darkness.
\nWe worship Christ, they idolize ungodliness.<\/p>\n

We cherish liberty, they support tyranny.
\nWe value tradition, they crave rebellion.
\nWe treasure righteousness, they celebrate wickedness.
\nWe honor holiness, they cheer depravity.<\/p>\n

We bless, they curse.
\nWe sanctify, they demonize.
\nWe forgive, they murder.
\nWe pray, they blaspheme.<\/p>\n

We are not the same.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.<\/p>\n

Remember the word that I said to you, \u2018A servant is not greater than his master.\u2019 If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also” (John 15:18-20).<\/p>\n
